While I appreciate various kinds of art forms from throughout the world, I consider myself to be somewhat of an art expert. I appreciate various kinds of artistic endeavours, not simply those involving painting or decorating, such as video games, music, sculpture, and gardening. I believe that so many of these pastimes and interests are artistic endeavours in and of themselves, many of them include modest woodworking, the design of furniture or jewellery like these clover bracelets, regardless of the tools or methods used to make anything beautiful, if it is creative and original, it qualifies as art.

One of the most amazing things in the world is the production of sculptures all around the world, regardless of the materials used. Great sculptures like the figure of David in Florence have produced some obviously beautiful works of art, but there are other kinds of sculptures that do not receive as much attention. This includes ice sculptures, which are among the most incredible works of art. The majority of the time-consuming ice sculptures that have been made will likely never be seen again because they have either entirely melted or have already started to do so. Some may have been kept in a freezer somewhere, but the most have long since vanished. When you consider how stunning some of those statues would have been, this is tragic.

Paintings and murals are the most evident and stunning kind of art that have been produced over the years. There have been countless incredible murals and paintings conceived and produced over the years, all of them were the work of painters with original ideas. A painting may appear to some people to be nothing more than a few different paint colours brushed together to create a picture that only has meaning for the artist, but there is beauty even in that.

Part of the appeal of any art form, but particularly that of paintings, which may be as expressive as they are un expressionistic, is the ability to place oneself in the artist’s position and frame of mind and understand what he or she intended to create and portray.

One of life’s simplest yet most exquisite joys that we hardly ever get to enjoy is art. True, every day we can see a few photos and reprinted images of paintings, but we rarely get to witness the most exquisite works of art from around the globe. You can definitely name a few monuments or structures, but when was the last time you went looking for one? Do you even recall the last time you made a meaningful effort to visit a relatively well-known painting or other work of art? We all take these things for granted, so there’s a good probability that you cannot.
